What to expect

TOPCHIRO

Initial consultation

The goal of the initial consultation is to establish a base line reading and assess the trajectory of your health.

We do this is by using state of the art technology to measure the function of your spine and nervous system including digital infrared thermograph, neurological testing and onsite Cone Beam CT (CBCT).

Following this initial consultation you will receive a report of findings. This allows us to talk through your case, explain the results of the examinations and set in place a plan of management to resolve your specific problems, so you can live your best life.

Regular Visits

Checking the function of your spine and nervous system is the purpose of your regular visits.

Checks are made using digital thermography, postural indicators and leg length checks. If an issue is found, a specific adjustment is given, followed by a period of rest.

Following the rest period, the checks are performed again to make sure the subluxation has been corrected.

Computed Infrared Thermography

Infrared thermography gives highly accurate and scientific, real time data on the function of your nervous system. This shows when dysfunction is present and when it is not, so we can give you the right adjustment at the right time.

Specific Chiropractic Adjustments

The knee chest adjustment is unique and optimises the biomechanics of the cervical spine to give a precise adjustment that stays corrected.

Advanced Imaging (CBCT)

We have onsite CBCT (Cone Beam Computed Tomography) imaging, allowing us to capture highly detailed, 3D views of your spine and surrounding structures instantly. This advanced technology provides far greater clarity than traditional X-rays and is particularly useful for assessing spinal alignment, joint integrity, and complex anatomical issues. Having CBCT onsite means faster, more accurate analysis and the ability to tailor your care plan with precision. Scans are performed only when clinically indicated, ensuring your care remains focused, effective, and safe.

What do chiropractors treat?

Chiropractic care is not a treatment for any conditions specifically, it is a way of optimising the function of the spine and nervous system. However, people do see a resolution of many conditions as their nervous system starts to function at a better level and their bodies start to heal.

What is the difference between a traditional chiropractor and an Upper Cervical Chiropractor?

Traditional chiropractors often work in a very different way to upper cervical chiropractors. The main difference is that traditional chiropractors often work on the full spine and other joints in the body. Upper cervical chiropractors focus specifically on the upper neck.

Traditional chiropractors often have a focus treating pain and symptoms in contrast to Upper Cervical Chiropractors who have the objective of improving the function of the nervous system.

At a traditional chiropractic clinic, you can more than likely expect to receive an adjustment at every visit. This is in contrast with an upper cervical clinic, where the objective is not to adjust you every time, but to check and monitor your progress, and intervene only when necessary.

How many visits will I need?

The number of visits you will need depends on several factors. Firstly, is the chronicity of your problem and secondly, your goals and objectives. We will always give you a plan of care suitable to achieve your health goals, so you know what to expect.

Do you accept private insurance?

We don’t accept private medical insurance in the office, but we can offer you a detailed invoice that can be sent to your insurance to be reimbursed after your appointment.
