Welcome to Top Chiropractic Newcastle, the only Upper Cervical clinic in the North of England. You can find us at i6 Charlottes Square, which is a 7-minute walk from Newcastle Central Train station. We are teaming up with Heaton Dental who will be providing us with state-of-the-art Cone Beam CT scans of the Upper Cervical spine to ensure we can work at the highest standards. 

Dr Robin Caswell is trained in the location, analysis and correction of vertebral subluxation using the Knee-Chest posture and is one of the only people in Europe offering this type of care. 

The initial consultation will consist of a full neurological examination, thermographic scanning and CBCT scan. This will take roughly 1 hour. A report of findings will be given on the subsequent visit which includes further thermographic scans, a full explanation of your case and what to expect during your course of care. 

• Thermal scans offer us a vital insight into the function of your nervous system and if there is interference within your nervous system due to a vertebral subluxation. When interference is present, this is an indication that a correction is needed. If there is no interference, then a correction is not required. This is good, as it indicated the nervous system is functioning optimally. 
• CBCT scans are taken of the upper cervical spine to thoroughly analyse the alignment between the joints of the vertebrae. Asymmetry is the rule, not the exception and everyone’s spine is different. CBCT scans produce a 3D image which enables the clinician to analyse the spine in as much depth as necessary to allow us to be as specific as possible with the correction. Every client’s scan is analysed by multiple chiropractors within the team to ensure congruency and inter-clinician reliability. This means that all the chiropractors within our team can provide the same, high standard of care. 
• The CBCT scans will be taken at Heaton Dental under supervision of one of their clinicians. We will ensure this is a smooth process and will offer any additional help necessary to get you there safely. 

The Newcastle practice will be video recording your neurological examination as it will provide you with evidence of all your improvements made over the course of your care.
