Traveling to the other side of the world to serve a new community through Chiropractic was an unforgettable experience.
From the moment I arrived, I felt a significant shift in culture; yet, at the same time, everything felt oddly familiar. When we reached Mount Abu, everything changed. We arrived at the Brahma Kumaris center, a spiritual community deeply committed to connecting with God in everyday life.
I learned so much from them. They became our teachers throughout our stay, cared for us like family, and were always there for us.
We were never alone in India. We lived alongside them, and thanks to their global organization, we were connected and supported everywhere we went.
Rishi is a legend! He made sure we always had food, transport, water, and connections, no matter where we were.
Serving in the hospital was a priceless experience. We had the opportunity to connect with the Mount Abu community, who were incredibly receptive to specific Chiropractic care.
I am deeply grateful to Dr. Christian Caswell for giving us this opportunity to travel to India, to build relationships with the Brahma Kumaris, and to learn Chiropractic in a powerful, grounded way. He helped us refine our vision of what it means to be a Doctor of Chiropractic by focusing on analyzing and correcting vertebral subluxation. It’s one thing to talk about it, another to do it, and something even greater to teach it while embodying it.
Thank you for this journey. It was cultural, spiritual, educational, and deeply transformative trip. I return with greater peace and countless lessons. Mount Abu is a truly special place, and it will always hold a special space in my heart, along with all the people I connected with there.
Thank you, India.
Om Shanti (I am a peaceful soul).
